The first IMAX movie theater in Haikou opened in the Jinyi International Cinema on May 12th, 2013

 

The Jinyi International Cinema is located in the Xinhai Bay Plaza, an important development of the Xinhu Island project. The cinema provides 7 luxury projection halls including 1 IMAX screen with a seating capacity of 1,200.

The screen has a width of 22 meters and a height of 13 meters equipped with a high-end audio system ring. The venue can accommodate up to nearly 400 people, giving them a first-class movie-viewing experience.
