Jointly hosted by China Angling Association and China Cruise and Yacht Industry Association, the launching ceremony of first China Series of Angling Tournament was kicked off on May 12, 2013 in Haikou.

 

According to the organizing committee, the angling tournament, covering a competition length of 7 months from this May to December, will be held in the coastal cities including Dalian, Weihai, Dongtou, Xiamen, Zhuhai, Wanning and Sansha.

 

The competition is dominated by the trolling, along with the rock fishing and landbased fishing activities.

 

Known as ‘Golf at sea’, angling is one of the most popular outdoor leisure sports in the world. With better economic conditions and advanced fishing tackle, it has become a rising recreational & tourism event in China with more excitement and joy.
