Located in Sanya’s Sanmei Bay, the resort has been listed as one of the city’s key projects involving an investment of 1.2 billion yuan.
 
Constructed by the famous designers of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT), the resort will provide 529 rooms and 54 villas. Facing the 996-km-long coastline, each room in the hotel will feature an independent swimming pool.
 
The construction of the resort will be completed in 2014.
 
The hotel will also attach great importance to environmental protection and energy conservation as light construction materials will be widely used in its construction to illustrate the concept. 
 
Meanwhile, the construction of the Sanya International Financial Conference Center invested by China Development Bank near the Sanmei Bay’s project is almost completed and is expected to open within the year.
 
By then, the Sanmei Bay Resort and International Conference Center of China Development Bank will greatly improve the accommodation ability in the west part of Sanya.
