Hainan officials meet diplomats from 12 nations to promote Sanya Haitang Bay

A conference on Sanya tourism promotion for the construction and development has been held at Pullman Resort Sanya Bay to introduce the tourism services and National coastline Haitang Bay programs to the diplomats from 12 countries on Saturday.
During the conference, Sanya relevant authorities briefed the favorable policy implementation as well as the new tourism projects including the National Coastline Haitang Bay projects, Tax Refund policy, Offshore Duty Free Shopping policy as well as the opening of flight freedom.
The diplomats deeply impressed by the fast development of Sanya hotel sectors and highly appreciated Sanya’s efforts on the promotion of Sanya tourism industry.
Diplomats also expressed their concerns on the development of Sanya tourism industry. They pointed out that to be consistent with an international tourist destination, Sanya should lay more emphasis on the quality of service industry since service sector is still a leading industry in Sanya.
"As sanya is a developing tourist city, we still have a long way to go. We sincerely welcome any precious suggestions that contribute to the improvement of Sanya tourism development. We’d like to share our fruitful achievements and attract more international tourists to visit Sanya," said Jiang Sixian, the Secretary of Sanya Municipal Committee of Hainan Province.
