39 new LNG buses come into service in Sanya
Tourists seeking to go up to Nanshan Tourism Zone can take the new Bus Line No.16, an environmental-friendly LNG bus came into service on July 15, reports 0898.net.
Bus Line No.16, starting from Honggang Market to Nanshan Tourism Zone, has 68 diesel-engine buses running on the roads.
In order to create a smooth, green and convenient transportation environment for the public and tourists, local government and the bus company decided to replace the 68 diesel-engine buses of LNG-fueled buses or lower emission standards.
On January 29, the bus company has upgraded the first batch of 29 LNG buses for the old Bus Line No.16.
Unlike the first batch of 29 upgraded LNG buses, the current new buses have been taken a more modern look, which are designed with Sanya international tourism logo to vividly show Sanya’s image as an international tropical tourist destination.
The new Bus Line No. 16 will run every 5 minutes after the whole replacement project is completed.
