On May 11, the Sanya law enforcement authority and relevant departments started legal processes to root out illegal land use within the area of Yazhou Central Fishing Port project in Yacheng County, reports 0898.net.
Located in the Xiliangpo, Yacheng County, Sanya Yazhou Central Fishing Port is a key project in Sanya as well as the largest fishing port in Hainan.
Since the announcement of construction of Yazhou Central Fishing Port in August 2009, local residents began to expand their agricultural land and plantation. According to the statistics, more than 6,000 fake graves have been found distributed near the fishing port construction areas.
At present, Sanya law enforcement authorities have dismantled two illegal ponds, covering an area of 12,2 hectares.
