Haikou announced on Wednesday that the city will be launching 54 tourism promotion activities this year in major tourist source markets.

Led by the Haikou tourism development commission, the tourism campaign will be organized by 11 local travel agents in overseas markets covering Southeast Asia, UAS, Russia, Ukraine, Taiwan and domestic cities, in order to highlight the rich and varied travel resources that city has to offer.

In addition to this, relevant promotion documentaries and advertising materials will be on display via major distribution channels to comprehensively introduce the favorable conditions for holiday travel in Haikou.

The government will also take advantage of a series of events, such as a boat show, arts festival, wedding festival and trade exhibition to showcase the city’s rich resources of scenery, travel facilities, economic activities, and cultural diversity to visitors
