Thanks to the new duty-free policy, many hotels in Sanya have been enjoying high occupancy rates around the holidays. “Our hotel reservations during the May Day holiday has reached nearly 70%, a significant increase compared with that of last year. And the reservation peak period has been put ahead more than one week, a salesperson working at Sanya Pearl River Garden Hotel said. Not only in Dadonghai areas, hotel reservations in Sanya Bay and Yalong Bay areas have also shown a high occupancy during the 3-day holidays.
