Mission Hills Golfathon 2013 kicks off in Haikou on April 1
The 10th Mission Hills Golfathon 2013 will be held from April 1 through September 30, 2013.
As of March 30, nearly 3000 golf players have signed up for the Golfathon, a number 5 times higher than last year.
The Golfathon asks participants to play over the club’s 10 unique volcanic golf courses within half a year, all of which are entertaining and challenging courses for golf enthusiasts.
Any player who can complete 8 qualifying matches and two Par 3 Courses within 5 days will be awarded an Iron Man Certificate, which is the most challenging award.
Launched in 2004 to celebrate Mission Hills’ recognition as the world’s largest golf club, over the past 9 years, Mission Hills Golfathon has attracted nearly 40,000 participants from more than 30 countries to compete on courses designed by golf legends including Jack Nicklaus, Greg Norman, Nick Faldo and Annika Sorenstam.
