Recently, the statistics from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) showed that Sanya’s housing prices in March increased 0.4% year on year and dropped 0.6% compared with that in February, reports hndnews.com.

Among the 70 selected large and medium Chinese cities, 12 cities saw price declines in March and 8 cities stood at the same level.

The slower growth in prices in Sanya is largely a result of the measures the government has rolled out since March.

According to the National Bureau of Statistic, the average transaction price of commercial residential (less than 90sqm) properties in Sanya increased 0.4% year on year and dropped 0.4% month on month, house prices (90sqm -144sqm) increased 0.7% and up 0.4% month on month, house prices (above 144sqm) stood at the same level and increased 1.7% month on month.

Meanwhile, the house prices for second-hand houses increased 0.2% year on year and dropped 3.4% month on month.
