The Sanya government are endeavoring to build a large number of public rent apartments this year as it is one of the important factors to affect the service industry as well as the city’s development, reports 0898.net.

At present, more than 200,000 employees working at service industry sector. Among them, nearly 150,000 people have to settle the housing problem. As Sanya is a place gathering world-class hotel management brands. The high house rental fee has added more financial burdens for enterprises as well as individuals.

The shortage of public rent apartments in Sanya has become a bottleneck to attract and keep these high-level talents to stay at modern service industry.

According to a survey conducted among 80s graduates, most of them had to leave Sanya for cities such as Changsha, Xi’an, Yunnan for work since the house prices are too high for them to accept.

Liu Shuguo, Secretary General of Sanya Real Estate Association said the construction of public rent apartments will be fully complemented to the commercial residences to improve the multi-level housing demands.
