During the 2011 Boao Forum (April 14-16), the average hotel rate in Sanya is 1,108 yuan per night, an increase of 4% compared with the basic price on March 5th. The average hotel rate during the May Day Holiday (May 1-3) is 1,156 yuan per night with an increase of 8.6%. Among them, the highest room rate is 67,620 yuan per night while the lowest is 66 yuan.
 
The first batch of 88 hotels include 11 hotels in Yalong Bay, 18 hotels in Sanya Bay, 18 hotels in Dadonghai area, 38 hotels in the downtown center and 3 hotels in other areas.
 
In the first batch of 88 hotels, the rooms with rates below 1,000 yuan during the 2011 Boao Forum account for 65.6% of the total room numbers while 63.6% for the May Day Holiday.
