This month, a Sanya-themed photo exhibition was held at the Chinese Cultural Centre in Berlin, Germany and attracted many visitors from tourism fields in Germany, reports hinew.cn.

100 photos taken by French and Hainanese photographers were well selected and showed to the German public.

I have never been to Sanya. However, after seeing these beautiful pictures, I really want to experience the charm of this beautiful city., said the Director of the Berlin VC travel agency. The pictures really left her a strong impression.

In 2010, the number of German tourists to Sanya reached 15,000,  an increase of 43.1% compared with 2009. Germany has become the fourth largest source of foreign tourists visiting Sanya.

After several years of unremitting efforts, Sanya has gained a rapid popularity in European countries. Besides, more and more convenient international air routes will be opened to increase the market share in the European tourism market.
