In 2011, the Sanya Government will invest 3.565 billion yuan on social projects including education, social security program, subsidized apartments, medical services and employment, an increase of 24% compared with last year, reports hinews.cn.

Meanwhile, the government will invest 434 million yuan to build more subsidized housing units with low prices for residents relocated for urban renewal. Besides, the government will accelerate the renovation work of dangerous buildings in urban areas.
