Nanshan Temple in Sanya

Some members of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) have proposed to unite all units around the Nanshan Tourism Zone to fight against pickpockets and theft, reports 0898.net.

As the largest public site for religious activities in Sanya, Nanshan Temple has attracted thousands of tourists and believers every day.

However, it is learned that in recent years, the stability and security of Nanshan Temple has been harassed by outsiders, especially some burglary gangs breaking into temples.

The members suggest that the relevant department should work together to strengthen patrols over these scenic spots. Meanwhile, local authorities should enhance education on underage teenagers living in nearby villages.
