Parents warned of uncertified private kindergartens in Sanya
Sanya Education Bureau has warned parents of sending their children to uncertified private kindergartens since the quality of more than 70 private kindergartens in Sanya haven't been authorized by the local government, reports hinews.cn.
At present, there are 20,000 children reaching the age for kindergarten education in Sanya. However, the shortage of formal and public kindergartens has led to a large portion of children to attend some private kindergartens, which haven't been authorized by local government.
All these ineligible private kindergartens share the commons that they fail to provide good daycare and teaching facilities. Some teachers working in the kindergartens even don't obtain qualifications.
To better regulate the kindergarten education in Sanya, local authorities have carried out a special management on those ineligible private kindergartens. According to urban construction program, each county in Sanya is expected to build a public kindergarten to meet the demands by 2012.
