The passenger traffic volume of the Sanya Phoenix Island International Cruise Terminal has reached 400,000 since it was put into service in November 2006, according to the statistics released by Exit-Entry Administration Department of Sanya Municipal Public Security Bureau on 5th Feb, 2011.

According to relevant information, this year, more than 10 cruise liners are expected to call at Sanya port including Costa cruise liners "Romantica" and "Princess Daphne".

Sanya Phoenix Island International Cruise Terminal, which was put into operation in November, 2006, is becoming the main port in Hainan for internaitonal cruise liners.
