Barbie Hsu and Wang Xiao Fei

 

Taiwan actress Barbie Hsu and Chinese businessman Wang Xiao Fei may have opted for a simple wedding banquet but the bill will be anything but modest.
 
According to Taiwan media reports, the couple plan to charter a plane to fly wedding guests to their March 22 wedding at Sanya, Hainan Island.
 
The flights which will depart for Sanya on March 21, and return to Taiwan on March 24, are estimated to cost some NT$2.5 million (S$110,000).
 
Around 50 guests, including bridesmaid, singer Pace Wu, and actress Ady An, are expected to attend the festivities which will be held at a hotel which Wang has a stake in.
 
Hsu’s engagement to Wang, 29, within 20 days of meeting him, and their subsequent lightning fast marriage registration had raised quite a few eyebrows.
 
It has also sparked speculation that the couple are rushing into marriage because the 34-year-old actress is already pregnant.
 
Also rumoured to be pregnant is Hsu’s younger sister, Dee, who was recently spotted wearing baggier clothes and flats.
 
When asked about the rumour, the television host said: "Which outfit that I wear when I’m presenting isn’t short and tight? While it is my goal to conceive again this year, that hasn’t happened yet."
 
The 32-year-old and husband Mike Xu married in 2005 and have two daughters.
