Beijing Capital Airlines launched the flight between Urumqi and Sanya on Jan 14, following the footsteps of Hainan Airlines earlier this month.
 
The route between the two cities has attracted up to four airline companies so far, including China Southern Airlines and Sichuan Airlines.
