On the morning of Jan 18, an signing ceremony on the construction of the Sanya International Hotel Management College was held in Sanya.

"With the construction of an International Tourism Island and the exploration of Haitang Bay, Sanya has become the central region for 5-star hotels and other international hotel brands, which will lead to an increasing demand for a great number of hotel management talents”, Mayor Wang Yong stressed at the ceremony.

The college will aim at training students to be high-level talents for hotel management as well as conducting a series of high standard on-the-job trainings to enhance the International competitiveness of the Hainan hotel industry.

The college will establish specialties including hotel management, tourism management, exhibition management, service management and so on.

The college will start enrolling students in Sep, 2012 and accommodate 15,000 students when fully completed.
