The Sanya Price Control Bureau has released the fist batch of approved room rates of 80 hotels for this year’s Spring Festival, reports hntqb.com.
 
Hoteliers are not permitted to raise room rates by more than 10 percent from the average rates in Jan 27, 2009, according to the bureau.
 
The King Villa suite and Presidential Villa suite of Yalong Bay Villas & Spa Resort tops the list with 71,800 yuan per night, 
 
The lowest room rate is 170 yuan per night, which is the Standard Single Room of the Sanya Bay Asgard Hotel. There are a total of 436 room types on the list with different rates available to meet guests’ requirements.

The first batch of 80 hotels include 4 hotels in Yalong Bay, 14 hotels in Sanya Bay and 14 hotels in Dadonghai area.  
 
During the New Year and Spring Festival, the Sanya Commidity Price Department, together with Sanya Tourism Commission and Sanya Trade & Industry Bureau will conduct inspection on the results of temporary intervention on Sanya hotel room rates.
