Passengers are queuing at the ticket window in Sanya Railway Station.
 
The Sanya Railway Station received over 11,000 passengers in the first 3 days after the East Ring High-speed Railway (HSR) opened to traffic on Dec 30, 2010. According to the railway authority, 3 more pairs of bullet trains have been added to meet the increasing traffic demand between Jan 1-3, 2011 reports Sanya Morning Post.

The timetable for the East Ring High-speed Railway shows that 10 bullet trains leave Sanya Station to Haikou Station or Haikou East Station everyday from 7:00am to 8:10pm. Meanwhile, 10 bullet trains leave Haikou Station or Haikou East Station to Sanya Station from 7:00am to 8:30pm.

The 3 pairs of newly-added bullet trains leaving from Haikou East Station are D7321 at 10:55am, D7323 at 3:25pm, D7325 at 8:00pm, and the trains leaving from Sanya Station are D7322 at 8:30am, D7324 at 1:15pm, D7326 at 5:35pm.

The East Ring High-speed Railway in Hainan, which has shortened the travel time between Haikou and Sanya to 90 minutes, has been widely welcomed since it started operation on December, 30, 2010.
