On Nov 29th, 50 Kyrgyzstan children arrived in Sanya for medical rehabilitation which will last 13 days, and the Sanya Government has organized a warm reception at the Palm Beach Resort & Spa, Sanya where the children are accommodated.
 
Mr Xu Yachuan, deputy chief of the Hainan Health Department, and Mr Rong Liping, vice mayor of Sanya attended the welcoming ceremony together with many officials of foreign affairs, sanitation, tourism, education and propaganda.
  
 
In June of this year, south of Kyrgyzstan was hit by riots. As a friendly neighbour, China proposed receiving some of the affected children to take medical rehabilitation in China.  
 
According to the report, Sanya has also received two groups of Russia children who suffered from the Beslan terrorist incident. Sanya finished the task successfully which made it the ideal choice for this meaningful mission again.
 
The Sanya Government attaches great importance to this honorable mission. It has made a specific scheme to guarantee high quality of this significant medical rehabilitation. It has decided to use traditional Chinese medicine which is undertaken by the Sanya Chinese Medical Hospital.
 
The accompanying officer of Kyrgyzstan showed his gratitude to China, he says “people know who their true friends are when they are in trouble, and we know China is our best friend now.”
