Four 5-star hotels situated in Haitang Bay are about to complete final stage construction and are expected to officially open during the period of the next Spring Festival, Sanya hinews.com reports.
 
According to relevant construction plans, 32 five-star hotels and 38 hotels with unique features will be located in Haitang Bay in the near future. At present, 16 five-star hotels with a total investment reaching 14.45 billion yuan are still under construction and they are estimated to open successively from 2010 to 2013.
 
In a few years, Haitang Bay will become one of the international tourist resorts with the largest number of high–end hotels. Meanwhile, it will also boast itself as an ecological and characteristic tourist destination.
 
By now, a total amount of 12.425 billion yuan has been collected for the construction of Haitang Bay. Among them, 6.25 billion yuan comes from government investment while individuals and companies contributed to the rest of the investment.
