On the morning of Nov 19th, Sanya Haitang Bay Management Committee signed a cooperative framework agreement with Cits Group corporation to mark the Hainan International Duty-free Centre’s official settlement into Sanya, reports news.163.com.
 
According to the agreement, Cits Group corporation will invest 5 billion yuan to build the 46.7 hectare duty-free centre in Haitang Bay.
 
In the future, the Hainan International Duty-free Centre will become a major leisure shopping destination which will provide duty-free products, hotel service, business transactions, and much more.
 
The cooperation between Sanya Haitang Bay Management Committee and Cits Group corporation is an important step to boost the development of the tourism industry in both Sanya and Hainan, a relevant offficial in Sanya indicated.
