Supermarket fined RMB5,000 for blocking aisle with cargo in Sanya
On Nov 18th, a supermarket in Sanya got a fine of RMB 5,000 in a fire safety inspection organized by the Sanya government, reports hinews.com.
After the fatal fire accident in Shanghai, at around 17:00 on Nov 18th, a fire safety inspection team led by Mr Wu Yanjun, deputy mayor and the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee of Sanya, made a fire safety inspection at Mingzhu Shopping Mall, one of the largest shopping malls in Sanya.
During their inspection, a supermarket in Mingzhu Shopping Mall was found putting its cargo in the aisle, which caused a great safety hazards in the shopping mall. The Sanya Fire Protection Bureau ordered the supermarket to remove the cargs immediately and fined them RMB 5,000.
Mingzhu Shopping Mall was requested to make more specific and efficient fire protection measures due to the potential safety hazards of fire accidents spotted there after inspection, according to the report.
