27 Chinese sailors survive boat sinking off Sanya
At 20:30 on Nov 9th, 27 Chinese sailors were all rescued with the efforts of China and Vietnam governments, reports gov.cn.
China Maritime Search and Rescue Centre received the distress alerting from Panama bulk carrier JIAN MAO 9 at 19:01 on Nov 9th. The cargo vessel waterlogged and sank on the sea, 170 miles away Sanya of Hainan Province.
China Maritime Search and Rescue Centre launched emergency preplans immediately and coordinated Vietnam government for help. 6 vessels has joined the rescue and salvage operations, according to the report.
