Sanya welcomes 1st Kazakhstan tourist group after visa-exemption policy
Kazakhstan tourists dance with the locals in Sanya, Hainan
On Oct 30th, over 160 Kazakhstan tourists arrived in Sanya by chartered flight. Ever since the implementation of the visa-exemption policy in China, this is the first tourist party from one of the 5 newly-added countries to visit Hainan by chartered plane, hinews reports.
The Kazakhstan guests arrived in Sanya at about 8 a.m. and they were warmly welcomed at Sanya Phoenix International Airport upon their arrival. The whole tourist party will be staying in Sanya for about a week.
In August this year, the Ministry of Public Security included five other countries on the list of Hainan’s visa-exempted countries, which are Finland, Denmark, Norway, Ukraine and Kazakhstan respectively. This policy not only brings more chances for tourism cooperation between Hainan and other countries, but also enables tourists to enjoy great convenience before and during their Hainan tour.
Kazakhstan has been a potential tourist source country to Hainan over the past three years. Furthermore, with the implementation of the visa-exemption policy, the volume of tourists in Hainan is expected to grow rapidly in the future.
