Miss Brazil Kamilla Salgado

Miss World 2010 is being held in the Chinese city of Sanya after the original venue pulled out of hosting the 2010 pageant. China is now beginning to host these types of event more and more and the ceremonies are getting increasingly lavish. 2010 will be the fifth time that China has held the Miss World Finals and this year a record amount of girls are in the running for the coveted Miss World crown which will be awarded in a glittering ceremony on the 30th October.

The Miss World betting market has been open for a while as the girls have been competing and attending events in the month leading up to the final and this has given us clues to the fancied winners. Towards the head of the betting is Miss Brazil and she looks a good bet to win at around the 8/1 mark with Bet 365 and William Hill. Kamilla Salgado is the 21 year old representing the South American country and looks a worthy favourite. Other girls in with a decent chance are Miss Botswana, Miss Colombia, Miss India and Miss Slovakia. Irish bookmakers Boylesports also report strong betting support for their representative Emma Waldron, this could be wishful thinking but she is a beautiful girl. Bookmakers are mainly going a 1/5 th of the odds 1-2-3-4-5 and any of the above girls look backable with Miss India and Miss Slovakia looking good value.
