The new luxury boutique is on the first floor of the Sanya Galleria on Hainan Island and began trading earlier this month
 
Luxury accessories brand MCM has announced the opening of a boutique at the Sanya Galleria on Hainan Island with China Duty Free Group. The boutique began trading on October 5 as part of the new luxury area within the Galleria.
 
The 97q m (1,045sq ft) MCM boutique is on the first floor of the Sanya Galleria along with other luxury fashion brands including Gucci, Salvatore Ferragamo, Bally, Ermenegildo Zegna, Dunhill, Hugo Boss and Tumi. The luxury area also includes fragrance and cosmetics brands such as Chanel, Christian Dior and Anna Sui as well as fine watches labels including Montblanc, Chopard and Cartier.
 
MCM global travel retail director Gerry Munday said: "This is a fantastic new listing for us. MCM is very hot in China and this is wonderful exposure for the brand. We are very proud to be alongside so many prestigious designer names and China holds huge potential for the fashion accessories sector. We are expecting significant growth here over the next two years."
