Sanlam Namibia lasts week showed its national loyalty by financially making it possible for this year’s reigning Miss Namibia, Odile Gertze to fly to Sanya, China, where the Miss World pageant will be taking place.

The insurance company’s General Manager: Public and Corporate Support, Mulele Simataa, said the company is proud to be part of a national initiative to financially support a proudly Namibian representative, who will be flying the national flag high and promote what the country has to offer in terms of its unique and diverse culture. He assured the public his company will go out of its way to sponsor more events like this in future.

Simataa stressed the importance of the corporate world to show its support to the nation’s representatives by providing them with the necessary funds enabling them not only to represent the country as a whole, but assist in making their dreams come true. Odile leaves for China at the end of this month.
