Hotel rates in Sanya during National Day holiday announced
The Sanya Municipal Prices Bureau published the approved guest room prices of 78 hotels in the city.
Among them, the price of the most expensive hotel rooms stands at 58,800 yuan/day. The sky-high price suite belongs to the Ritz-Carlton Sanya, which is located on Yalong Bay National Tourist Resort. This suite is in fact a villa, known as Jinmaoju(金茂居).
In addition, the hotel built several other villas, also setting fancy prices at over 10,000 yuan/day. Compared with Ritz-Carlton Sanya, most hotel room prices are affordable for tourists (about 1,000 yuan); moreover, the cheapest single room is only priced at 180 yuan.
Most tourists are astonished and said that it is unlikely for them to stay in a 50,000yuan suite. Instead, most tourists choose to stay in hotels charging around 200 to 500 yuan.
According to Sanya Municipal Prices Bureau, the average rate of price hike during this year’s National Day holiday stands at 1.7%. From the price fluctuations of the 78 approved hotels, it is obvious that most hotels have strictly followed regulations brought up by local government.
