Miss Italy Giada Pezzaioli leads among the early favorites in the 2010 Miss World beauty pageant which will be held in Sanya, China on Oct. 30, 2010.
In its first week of Miss World 2010 Hot Picks, published by missosology.org, the list is also made up of contestants from countries that are rarely heard in beauty contests such as St. Lucia and Rwanda.
Other beauties who made the Top 15 Hot Picks list are Miss Botswana Emma Wareus, Miss India Manasvi Mamgai, Miss Venezuela Adriana Vasini, Miss St. Lucia Aiasha Gustave, Miss Poland Agatha Szewiola, Miss Scotland Nicola Mimnagh, Miss Aruba Kimberly Kuiperi, Miss Russia Irina Sharipova, Miss South Africa Nicole Flint, Miss Norway Mariann Birkedal, Miss France Virginie Dechenaud, Miss Rwanda Grace Bahati, Miss Mexico Anabel Sosa, and Miss Israel Shavit Vizel.
Pezzaioili, 17, is a high school student who speaks four languages – Italian, English, French and Mandarin. She also loves swimming in the sea and pop music.
Her ambition is to become a supermodel with knowledge of languages. In an interview, Pezzaioili described herself as simple, humble but determined.
“I face my life with great determination and much desire to do,” she said, in an interview published by the Miss World Organization.
Pezzaioli also said that she loves reading books that can teach her something.
She added that she loves pizza, pasta, rice, meat, fish, vegetables and fruits.
Asked about her proudest moment in life, the Italian beauty said: “It was on 12th April 2 years ago when I moved with my family into the house of our dreams, that my dad had built with no other previous experience. He wanted to realize our dreams in a place where peace and harmony reigns.’’
Pezzaioili is also an animal lover. She owns a dog and three cats.

More than 100 candidates will compete for the 2010 Miss World title, the world’s oldest beauty pageant. 2010 Bb. Piliipinas-World Czarina Gatbonton will represent the Philippines in the contest.
