Home transactions plunge 78% in Sanya

The transaction area of residential properties in Sanya, Hainan province plunged 77.96 percent week-on-week in the same period.
The transaction area of residential properties in Inner Mongolia’s Baotou surged 383.85 percent week-on-week in the week of August 16-22.
The transaction area of residential properties in 15 of the 35 monitored cities decreased.
The transaction area of residential properties in Shanghai was unchanged from the previous week while Hangzhou recorded a 198.97 percent week-on-week surge in transaction area.
The average transaction price in the 20 monitored cities rose 35 percent week-on-week to 2,123 yuan per square meter.
A total of 117 land plots were launched in the week of August 16-22 in the 20 monitored cities, down six percent week-on-week. The total area of the 117 plots was 5.57 million square meters, up 22 percent week-on-week.
Out of the 117 plots of land, 68 plots were transacted in the week of August 16-22, down 13 percent week-on-week. The 68 transacted plots cover an area of 3.18 million square meters, down 24 percent week-on-week.
