6 million yuan allotted to uprade public restrooms in Sanya
This year, Sanya will invest 6 million yuan to upgrade public restrooms in urban areas according to the national urban sanitation facilities standards, in an effort to create a clean, hygienic toilet environment for residents and tourists, reports hinews.cn.
According to the Sanya Garden Environment Sanitation Bureau, they will invest 6 million yuan to transform public restrooms, install toilet guide signs, as well as to improve light and ventilation systems this year.
Also, they will construct 48 toilets for people with disabilities in the urban areas to improve public restroom facilities and upgrade the public restrooms grade.
Mr. Zibing Huang, the deputy researcher of the Sanya Garden Environment Sanitation Bureau, said that the urban public restrooms in Sanya will be greatly improved after this transformation.
