Touted as the best job in China, the contest is welcoming applicants from all over the world.

 

The winner will walk away with 1 million yuan in prize money, a year-long round-the-world tour and the responsibility of promoting the island.

 

The contest is aimed at female candidates aged 18 to 28 who are talented in arts and enjoy travelling.

 

They are also expected to have an in-depth appreciation of different cultures, and strong marketing skills.

 

The competition final will be held on the island in October.
