Plans to turn Chengmai’s Qiaotou Town into a regional aviation scenic town has been given a boost, as the Chengmai government and Anhua General Aviation Management Co. Ltd jointly drew up a cooperation strategy on August 3rd, 2015. It will be the first aviation focused scenic town in China.

The aviation-themed scenic town will consist of an aviation exhibition center, a professional aviation training school, an emergency rescue training project and a maritime rescue base.

Anhua General Aviation Management Co. Ltd said they chose to develop general-purpose aviation in Chengmai due to its abundant sea island resources and unique tropical resources.

Chengmai will formulate the planning within a short period and try to commence construction in the near future. Plans are being drawn to build a town incorporating aviation sightseeing, education, experience and holiday.
