Wenchang is planning to build a magic-themed cultural tourism park at the end of this year, according to a cooperation signing ceremony between investors and Wenchang Government held on June 27th, 2015.
 
The magic cultural tourism park will feature a magic circus, a magic castle, a cosmic home, a crazy laboratory and a forest paradise, other supporting facilities like overseas Chinese scenery towns, commercial streets and Hainan food streets and a magician school will be included in the project.
 
China’s top Magician Liu Qian, who attended the signing ceremony, told the reporter that the theme park is the first of its kind in the world that we want to provide such a magic environment to let more people to feel the charm of the magic shows.
 
Upon its completion, annual national magic competitions are planned to be held at the park.
