Sanya ranks first in provincial key projects investment in Hainan

Sanya ranks first in provincial key projects investment among the cities and counties in Hainan, according to the statistics released by the Sanya Cultural Industry Development Office.

72 key projects in Sanya have received a total investment of 14.5 billion yuan in the first five months of 2013, accounting for 43.4% of the annual expected investment.

In recent years, Sanya has been striving to upgrade its tourism industry structures so as to make them more attractive to tourists. Investment in the tourism industry sector has reached 10.33 billion yuan, accounting for 41.3% of total fixed-asset investment.

Among the key projects, construction on the Atlantis Resort and international convention and exhibition center are processing smoothly in Haitang Bay.

The Sanya government also launched financial support policies to boost the development of the cultural industry. Enterprises that base their headquarters in the city will be given certain rewards based on their operational scale and social influence.
