Infrastructure projects of Boao Lecheng Medical Zone to start in August
Infrastructure projects on the Boao Lecheng International Medical Travel Zone, China”s first special zone for medical travel, will begin this August after preliminary plans have been completed.
The Boao Lecheng International Medical Travel Zone is located near Qionghai city and Bo’ao Town, covering an area of about 20 square kilometers.
The infrastructure projects include 6 road section constructions and a drainage treatment plant.
7 medical projects involving a total investment of 2.38 billion yuan have been confirmed to settle in the medical zone.
The planning zone is positioned to become the country’s first international advanced medical travel industry cluster which combines medical tourism, low-carbon and ecological tourism, leisure and health care.
