The Tea Valley Scenic Spot, a new tourist attraction in Baoting County, has opened to the public with its first phase project completed at present.
 
 
The Tea Valley Scenic Spot, located at the Mao’an Township of Baoting County, is 70 kilometers away from Sanya and 14 kilometers from Wuzhishan City.
 
 
The project started in May 2010. The scenic spot covers a land area of 15,000 acres with an estimated investment of 6 billion yuan.
 
 
The scenic spot is comprised of 68 attraction sites, ranging from a travel program that allows tourists to explore the indigenous cultures of the Miao Minority, Hainan’s largest tea forest and a series of outdoor natural activities unique to the area.
