The Posidonia Sea Tourism Forum consists of the seminar “China-Greece Tourism Cooperation Seminar & Investment Promotion for the Cruise and Yacht Industries of Hainan Province.
 

A Hainan delegation recently attended the Posidonia Sea Tourism Forum, which was held at the Megaron Athens International Conference Centre in Greece on May 27th.

 

Hainan Province is the biggest ocean-side province in China. Hainan is looking to play a major role in the Silk Road Economic Belt and 21st Century Maritime Silk Road initiatives.

 

Hainan has been eying opportunities to build itself into a major sea transport and tourism hub in the region and continues to boost its maritime sector.

 

The Sanya Phoenix Island International Cruise Terminal (PIICT) phase two development program is underway, including four more berths for varying ship sizes of up to 225,000 tons.

 

This year, the 2015 Posidonia Sea Tourism Forum provided a unique marketing platform for ports & destinations, hotels & resorts, airports, tourist service providers, technical support companies, publishers, new technologies, yacht managers & brokers, yacht interior specialists and marinas to promote their business propositions and identify potential partners.
