Wentong Village
 
Wentong Village in Wanning City was recently awarded the title of China Ecological Civilization Village of 2015.
 
Wentong Village was awarded the title for their improvement of environmental infrastructure, its great domestic solid waste disposal facilities, its large public leisure areas for cultural and sports activities, comfortable human settlements and eco-environment, and strong eco-agriculture, eco-tourism industries alongside a high eco-civilization consciousness amongst the public.
 
Wentong Village is enriched with Li and Miao ethnic group styles and has its own ancient totem. Here visitors can experience a farmers’ life, enjoy various tropical plants, fish at the lakeside, eat fresh vegetables and fruits, and even connect to Wi-Fi and use an app developed by the village to automatically guide tourists during their trip.
