The Shihua Karst Cave in Danzhou City, Hainan recently announced that the tourist arrivals in the first quarter of this year reached 11,668, a 30% increase compared to 2014.
 
The Shihua Karst Cave is recognized as a national 3A scenic spot and is the karst cave with the lowest latitude in China.
 
According to a professional inspection done by the China Karst Cave Association, the Shihua Cave was formed 1.4 million years ago.
 
The scenic spot consists of a stone forest, an underground cave and a tropical orchard scene, which merge the elements of leisure sightseeing, popular science and education in one scenic spot.
