The 2015 Sanyuesan Festival, the largest traditional festival of the Li and Miao minorities in Hainan, is to take place at Changjiang County of Hainan from April 21st-23rd.
 
On that day, a grand blessing ceremony will be the highlight of the festival.
 
 
During the festival, a series of cultural activities will be staged to entertain the public and tourists, like ethnic dancing and singing performances, a traditional ethnic athletic competition and a Li and Miao intangible cultural heritage exhibition.
 
 
Meanwhile, a food festival, whose purpose is to promote the food and culture of the Changjiang County, will be held during the 3-day event at the Changjiang Cultural Park.

Traditional foods to taste at the Festival include bamboo rice and wild chicken and coconut soup, specialties of the indigenous Li and Miao people.
