The 2015 4th Nanyang Cultural Festival opened in Qinglan Peninsula, Wenchang City, Hainan on April 2, 2015. Overseas fellows with Wenchang origin of 25 leagues from more than 10 countries and regions took part in the festival.
 
Apart from the opening ceremony and folk cultural performances, a gourmet food festival, a commodity fair, a forum on Nanyang culture and a painting and calligraphy exhibition are scheduled to be held during the festival.
 
The culture festival aims to offer a platform of communication and cooperation for Wenchang fellows in the world to pay close attention to the social development and join in the economic construction in Wenchang City.
