Baoting kicked off the Rainforest & Hot Spring Wellness Tourism Year on March 31st to attract more tourists who wish to take healthcare and leisure holidays.

 

 

A series of cultural activities, such as folk customs tours, tropical rainforest tours, hot spring tours, mountain golf tours and picturesque countryside tours will be on offer to show off Baoting’s unique tropical rainforest, hot-spring tourism resources and Li & Miao cultural customs.

 

Baoting is the place with the greatest number of tropical rainforest hot springs in Hainan. In recent years, hot spring tourism products have become one of the region’s most popular tourism products.

 

 

 

The local government is continuing to promote the development and utilization of its hot spring and rainforest resources. A number of hot spring projects, like the hot springs in Mt. Qixianling, are currently in operation in the area.
