Hainan to open 11 international air routes in 2015
On March 25th, 2015, the Hainan Civil Aviation Office signed a cooperation agreement with 6 airline companies, including Hainan Airlines as well as chartered flight operators, to open 11 regular international flights in the coming months, with an aim of expanding its air network in East Asian regions, Southeastern Asian regions and West Europe.
Starting from October 1st, Hainan Airlines will open Haikou-Beijing-Brussels and Sanya-Beijing-Brussels regular flight routes. Each route will be operated two times a week.
Regular direct flights between Sanya and Seoul are slated to resume on April 29th, and Haikou-Vientiane direct flights will open in the middle of June. Both of the flight routes will run 2 times a week.
Meanwhile, the Sanya-Singapore direct flights will be launched on June 2nd, and other direct flights from Sanya to Lao’s two cities, Vientiane and Louangphabang, are to open in early June.
Besides, the direct flights between Sanya and Phuket will be launched from early July.
The Haikou-Nanchang-Osaka route will be launched from late May. The flight will operate with two flights a week.
