Hainan aims to boost scenic towns as its new drawing card

In recent years, Hainan has paid great attention to the development of scenic towns across the island.
According to the plan, a total of 100 tropical scenic towns with various characteristics will be built by 2030 on the island.

The development of scenic towns in the eastern region will mainly focus on tropical agriculture, coastal sightseeing and marine tourism, while the western and central parts of the island will feature folk cultural tourism and eco tourism.
These towns, actively exploring international standards with local characteristics, will be another drawing card for Hainan tourism.
