Qionghai City in Hainan was named one of China’s Top 10 Tourism Counties (Regions) at the 4th China Tourism Development Annual Meeting.

 

A total of 2.45 million tourists visited Qionghai for rural leisure tours in 2014, generating tourism revenue of 1.92 billion yuan.

 

The city made progress in tourism marketing, developing new rural tourism programs and other services related to the tourism industry in 2014.

 

The China Tourism Development Annual Meeting is a forum authorized by the National Tourism Bureau and initiated by the China Tourism Association together with China Tourism News, and participants from around the country also selected other locations for various prizes, including the Top 10 Tourist Villages and Top 10 Tourist Attractions.
